WSP appoints Satvinder Flore Energy Resources Industry lead in Canada

WSP, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, announced today that Satvinder Flore will assume the role of Business Line Executive for the Energy, Resources & Industry (ERI) business in Canada.

Satvinder has an extensive background in the international oil & gas, energy and industrial sectors. Over his 18-year career, he has held senior-level executive roles in North America and Europe with a focus on business development, strategy, operational planning and mergers & acquisitions. Most recently, Satvinder was Canadian regional strategy and development lead for oil, gas and petrochemicals for a major multi-national professional services firm.

We are delighted that Satvinder is taking on the leadership of this significant part of WSP’s business in Canada. His strong experience as an industry and client leader is well aligned with our strategy of placing clients at the centre of everything we do. Satvinder will play an important role in building deeper client relationships and driving exceptional growth across the country.

Satvinder moved from the United Kingdom to Canada in 2008 and holds a BA (Hons) from the University of York. Satvinder is active in the business community, and has supported UK and Canadian government agencies in an advisory capacity on energy, trade and international investment. In 2016 he was conferred as a GlobalScot by Scottish First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon.
