Holding several roles as a Chartered Engineer, an Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) member, a CIC-Certified BIM Manager, and a WELL Accredited Professional, Jacqueline has a strong passion in building service engineering and MEP design. In WSP’s Hong Kong office, she is responsible for all phases of MVAC system design from design review, project planning, coordination through to programme management.
Keen to make a difference to the community, Jacqueline spares no effort in promoting sustainable and people-centric design with her expertise and professional consultancy advice. She also provides mentorship and training for engineers on practical skills and knowledge in green building design, contributing to delivering today’s and tomorrow’s sustainable design, construction and operations standards.
Understanding the vital importance of digital transformation in the industry, Jacqueline is committed to facilitating industry-wide BIM implementation and smart solution application on projects that are designed for the future. As an active ASHRAE committee, she has organised technical seminars, workshops and talks to share her experience and arouse the awareness of young engineers on the adoption, development as well as the latest trends of BIM to cultivate a digital-oriented mindset of the younger generation.
Launched as the first female engineer award in Hong Kong in 2020, the IET YWE Award recognises outstanding young female talents in the field who have made valuable contributions to the society through their engineering achievements and inspirations to the younger generations.
