To predict long-term, cumulative wear-and-tear using real-time data, WSP¹ provided the City of Toronto and York Region with a faster digital twin of their water supply system and the largest transient model ever built using Bentley’s HAMMER software.

Looking to see what the year 2050 may look like in the Metro Vancouver region, Metro Vancouver and TransLink collectively pursued a scenario planning project led by WSP. Throughout the project, they explored possible futures, challenges and opportunities, which helped to better position the agencies to shape a more resilient vision for growth and transportation in the region.

WSP assisted the Region of York in completing a complex and extensive rehabilitation of a trunk watermain using CIPP technology.

Metrolinx, an agency of the Government of Ontario, Canada, selected WSP to outline emerging trends in technology and society and their potential impact on transportation in the Toronto region.

The Evergreen Line, which links Burnaby, Port Moody and Coquitlam to Vancouver is expected to carry 70,000 passengers a day by 2021. It was constructed to improve the communities it serves, as well as benefit the region as a whole, the businesses within and the environment by decreasing commute time and reducing traffic congestion.
