Hydrogen at a Glance

Hydrogen is a zero-emission fuel at the point of use. As an energy carrier, hydrogen has potential applications in transportation, power generation and industrial processes.

Green hydrogen is produced using power from renewable sources such as hydropower, solar and wind for the electrolysis of water.
Blue hydrogen is produced from natural gas through steam methane reforming. Carbon dioxide released in the process is captured and sequestered safely underground in special disposal wells.

Transmission Lines and Substations

We provide transmission line and substation engineering and program management services to power utilities, developers, and industrial clients to upgrade and replace aging infrastructure, build new assets, and improve reliability and resiliency.

Carbon Capture and Storage

We are a CCS leader, from our early work in designing and drilling Class II acid gas injection wells to our work on Class VI wells for carbon dioxide sequestration. Our experts provide technical expertise, regulatory support and advisory services for carbon dioxide transportation and injection.

Water Management

We help utilities, government agencies, developers, and industrial clients meet regulatory requirements, manage risk, and develop innovative strategies to deliver advanced water management infrastructure, including strategies to support hydrogen production.

Transportation

Owners and operators continue to explore hydrogen applications in transportation, from fuel cells for vehicle electrification to emission reduction strategies at ports.
