A Professional Engineer (PE) license enhances an engineer’s authority and paves the way for leadership roles, according to April Woods, PE, LEED AP BD+C, senior vice president and Florida building systems director at WSP.
Woods has supported engineering mechanical solutions for major healthcare projects over the past decade, including the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas project, which was the first health care facility in the world to be certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as LEED Platinum.
