Phil Jonat is an experienced energy engineer working on retrofits for many different types of infrastructure, including electric power grids, islanded microgrids, 24/7 critical trauma hospitals and public transit bus depots. His current focus is on how to increase beneficial electrification of transportation and buildings while staying resilient to the effects of climate change. He is experienced in designing and constructing distributed power generation, electric vehicles, energy management systems, energy efficiency, renewables and battery energy storage.
