As WSP’s maritime market leader, Kosal works with U.S. and international port authorities, marine terminal operators, the U.S. Navy, local municipalities, shipyards and construction contractors, overseeing our talented project delivery team to support the full life cycle of their maritime projects through successful delivery.
Prior to joining WSP, Kosal served as Southern California operations manager and West region maritime leader for an international engineering firm. His maritime experience includes work on container terminals, oil terminals, naval piers, buildings and site development for port authorities. He has managed several projects for the Port of Long Beach, Port of Los Angeles and the U.S. Navy.
Kosal earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Anna University in Chennai, India; a master’s degree in civil engineering at University of California at Berkeley; and a doctorate in structural engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
